Sick And Tired of Car Haters
What do you see here?
I see two incredible cars. I see a car that is built for a track minded enthusiast and a car that is a Japanese icon that will only go up in value, in fact I think both are set to go up in value.
That Porsche is part of the the last Cayman generation to have a naturally aspirated six cylinder engine, it's a limited production GT4, and it's a manual transmission.
The NSX on the other hand is most likely going to go up in value because of the new one being so much different. Die hard Honda/ Acura fans already love the NSX and I would bet they will only grow to love it more as time and technology move on.
So I am bothered by some of the comments this picture spurred on a Facebook post. One comment read "Eh with that kinda of money u could get a way nicer muscle car." I have grown tired of comments like these. Yes the hundred thousand dollars most likely spent on the GT4 could buy a very nice muscle car. I recently went for a ride in an extremely clean Pontiac with six hundred plus horsepower four fifty four under the hood that was fully restored. That Pontiac had at the minimum eighty thousand dollars put into it. Not once did I think " I could buy a way nicer Porsche with that money". I will tell you all I did was appreciate that car for what it is. And guess what? I would label myself as an import car guy. I love Honda's, I love Porsche's, and I love Nissans.
I just want want the car culture to come to the realization that not everyone is into the same type of cars or trucks. I want the car culture to learn to respect each other's passions. When a car is bought or built because they simply love the idea of having what they bought or built I think that's awesome. Someone is living their passion.
